The Adams County Community Foundation Giving Spree
is Adams County’s Day of Giving!
Join us this year on November 7, 2024 to support more than
100 Adams County Nonprofits!
For more than a dozen years, the Adams County Community Foundation Giving Spree has been Adams County’s day of giving: the day when everyone comes together to learn about local nonprofits and give them a financial boost. In recent years the amazing generosity of Adams Countians has made our Giving Spree America’s largest per capita giving day!
The Giving Spree makes it easy for you to give to multiple nonprofits with one gift by check, credit card, securities, or even a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA. Nonprofits pay nothing to participate, and we increase donor gifts by providing an incentive match with each gift.
You decide how each gift you make will be used by the nonprofits you support with a checkbox on the Donation Form. Check “today” and 100% of your gift goes directly to the organization for its immediate use. Check “forever” and your one-time gift will be added to your favorite nonprofit’s endowment, which then provides an annual grant to the nonprofit for years and decades to come.

Incentive Matches and Endowment Prizes!
We’re helping nonprofits stretch your giving with these three Incentive Match Pools and Endowment Prizes:
#1 Giving Spree Incentive Match
The Incentive Match Pool is for all participating nonprofits and funds. (#1 – #114) and distributed in proportion to the amount raised during the Giving Spree. If a nonprofit raises 10% of the total raised during the Giving Spree, then that nonprofit gets 10% of the Incentive Match Pool. Anyone donor can add to the Incentive Match (#115 on the Donation Form. The current Incentive Match Pool is $31,000 and growing!
#2 LeCompte Family Incentive Match
The LeCompte Incentive Match is distributed to participating nonprofits (#5 – #114) in proportion to the amount raised during the Giving Spree (up to $100,000). The LeCompte Family Incentive Match Pool is $50,000.
#3 Giving Spree Endowment Prizes
Our Endowment Prizes help participating nonprofits grow their endowments. When a nonprofit secures a minimum of $2,000 in forever gifts they qualify for endowment prizes. Top prizes are awarded by the highest PERCENTAGE increase in Forever (endowment) giving over 2023 Giving Spree Forever (endowment) gifts. Current Endowment Prize Pool is $20,000 and growing!
